چکیده

The Hybrid neural Fuzzy Inference System (HyFIS) is a multilayer adaptive neural fuzzy system for building and optimizing fuzzy models using neural networks. In this paper, the fuzzy Yager inference scheme, which is able to emulate the human deductive reasoning logic, is integrated into the HyFIS model to provide it with a firm and intuitive logical reasoning and decision-making framework. In addition, a selforganizing gaussian Discrete Incremental Clustering (gDIC) technique is implemented in the network to automatically form fuzzy sets in the fuzzification phase. This clustering technique is no longer limited by the need to have prior knowledge about the number of clusters present in each input and output dimensions. The proposed self-organizing Yager based Hybrid neural Fuzzy Inference System (SoHyFISYager) introduces the learning power of neural networks to fuzzy logic systems, while providing linguistic explanations of the fuzzy logic systems to the connectionist networks. Extensive simulations were conducted using the proposed model and its performance demonstrates its superiority as an effective neuro-fuzzy modeling technique. 2012 Published by Elsevier Ltd.

An Introduction to Parameterized IFAM Models with Applications in Prediction

Fuzzy associative memories (FAMs) and, in particular, the class of implicative fuzzy associative memories (IFAMs) can be used to implement fuzzy rule-based systems. In this way, a variety of applications can be dealt with. Since there are infinitely many IFAM models, we are confronted with the problem of selecting the best IFAM model for a given application. In this paper, we restrict ourselves...

Linear optimization on the intersection of two fuzzy relational inequalities defined with Yager family of t-norms

In this paper, optimization of a linear objective function with fuzzy relational inequality constraints is investigated where the feasible region is formed as the intersection of two inequality fuzzy systems and Yager family of t-norms is considered as fuzzy composition. Yager family of t-norms is a parametric family of continuous nilpotent t-norms which is also one of the most frequently appli...

Linguistic Summarization of Trends: A Fuzzy Logic Based Approach

The purpose of this paper is to propose a new easily implementable approach to a linguistic summarization of trends that may be present in temporal data. It is based on fuzzy linguistic summaries of data (databases) in the sense of Yager (cf. Yager [20], Kacprzyk and Yager [9], and Kacprzyk, Yager and Zadrożny [10]) which in the form of natural language-like sentences subsume the very essence o...

Universal Approximation Theorem forUninorm - Based Fuzzy Systems

Most existing universal approximation results for fuzzy systems are based on the assumption that we use t-norms and t-conorms to represent \and" and \or". Yager has proposed to use, within the fuzzy systems modeling paradigm, more general operations based on uninorms. In this paper, we show that the universal approximation property holds for an arbitrary choice of a uninorm.
